Senterra is as gated community of executive homes at the west side of Rancho Santa Fe, in the East Del Mar, Carmel Valley zip code 92130. The Senterra real estate development is nestled between the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club to the North and Del Mar Country Club to the East, south of San Dieguito Road at Derby Farms Road. The Senterra homes were designed by architect Ray Sutherland and built by Ray Watt.
Many of the houses at Senterra Rancho Santa Fe enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, hills, and golf course. In addition to the schools, the Senterra community enjoys close proximity to the beaches in Del Mar and Solana Beach and easy access to I-5. The area is much like Rancho Santa Fe, with much lower price tags for similar homes.
Although located in zip code 92130, the area has the definite ambiance of Rancho Santa Fe community. In fact, most of the homeowners here have RSF Post Office Box mailing addresses. The Elementary School is Solana Santa Fe in the Solana Beach Elementary district, and the middle school and high school are in Carmel Valley (Earl Warren Middle and Torrey Pines High).
