Prior to becoming a full-time San Diego real estate broker, Mr. Schiering was a real estate attorney (J.D./M.B.A. 1995). “The law practice definitely gave me tools for success in real estate sales. Contracts and negotiations have always been my forte. I left the legal profession to become a San Diego Realtor because I saw so many cases where people got burned by inexperienced agents who didn’t understand the contract or how to advocate for their clients interests.” Mr. Schiering’s loyal client base is a testament to his expertise. More than 85% of his transactions involve past clients and referrals from past clients.

Geoffrey and Anne-Marie have two sons. When they aren’t helping clients with real estate transactions, Geoffrey serves as a coach and assistant coach for little league baseball and soccer in Carmel Valley, Rancho Penasquitos, and Poway. Geoffrey is also on the vestry of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Del Mar. Anne-Marie volunteers time in the Poway School District and helps organize food drives and community service events. During one recent Keller Williams Red day Anne-Marie helped organize and collect donations of more than 13,000 bags of groceries for local military families.
