Pacific Beach homes are among the most desirable real estate for sale in San Diego. The zip code 92109 is a diverse community of houses, condos, and apartments.  Quiet tree-lined streets of North Pacific Beach and Crown Point contrast with the densely zoned condos and beach homes along Pacific Beach and the Mission Beach strand. The center of the PB neighborhood is between Grand and Garnet Avenue and continuing along Mission Boulevard.

At the South end of Pacific Beach is the Mission Beach strand.  Mission Beach homes are also in the Pacific Beach zip code.  Beach cottages and condominiums in this part of PB are densely zoned on both sides of Mission Bay Drive.  There is a single block of homes between the boardwalk on Pacific Beach and Mission Bay Drive to the East.  On the other side of the street is a block or two of homes that border Mission Bay.

The East side of Pacific Beach is adjacent to Interstate 5.  West of I-5 and adjacent to Mission Bay is the lovely, tree-lined residential neighborhood of Crown Point.  There are a number of entry-level beach homes in this area, along with newer condominiums and condominium conversions.  Bayside homes on Mission Bay are mostly condominiums or row houses.  Some of the Mission Bay condominiums are an excellent choice for individuals and couples looking for more affordable San Diego beach front properties.

At the North East side of Pacific Beach homes are mostly detached single-family houses.  The far North East corner includes a number of houses that provide military housing.  The final few blocks head up the hill onto Soledad Mountain in La Jolla.  Many of these hillside Pacific Beach homes enjoy views of Mission Bay and Downtown San Diego, and some are homes with views of the Pacific Ocean.

Homes in North Pacific Beach are an excellent alternative to much more expensive La Jolla homes for sale in the next neighborhood to the North.  There is a distinct beach-urban flavor in Pacific Beach.  Two very modern grocery stores serve the residents of homes in the neighborhood. The rollercoaster and concessions provide good old-time entertainment.  The restaurant/nightclub Canes attracts a lot of party-goers and music lovers.  Restaurants are mostly very casual.  Amidst all of the activity,  There is great energy mixed with the nostalgic Lazy Town San Diego beach community.
