This guard-gated community is monitored with 24-hour security patrols. Fairbanks Ranch is actually two gated communities, one to the North and another to the South of San Dieguito Road. Both the North and the South side of the community are absolutely gorgeous, with tree-lined streets and mature landscaping. Homes further from San Dieguito Road are preferred and generally valued more highly due to the greater quiet and tranquility. The neighborhood spans about 5 square miles, or 1,240 acres, with 142 acres of estate homes, 643 acres are reserved as open space and parks, and the remainder allocated to the country club.
Fairbanks Ranch Community
One of the great things about the neighborhood is that children can walk to the Solana Santa Fe Elementary school, basically right outside the gates of the community, on the South side of San Dieguito Road. Middle and High School students travel about ten minutes north to Carmel Valley’s Earl Warren Middle School and the award-winning Torrey Pines High School.
