Solana Beach is an upscale beach neighborhood between Del Mar and Cardiff-By-The-Sea. This small charming community is about 30 minutes from downtown San Diego. The community is only 4 square miles in its entirety and has two miles of beaches. At one time, zip code 92075 was an affordable option relative to neighboring Del Mar, but ongoing development has put Solana Beach on par with Del Mar in most respects.

Located in North San Diego County, the seaside enclave is characterized by magnificent bluffs, hidden coves, and pristine coastline, and a mellow lifestyle making it one of the most beautiful areas to live in the United States. The neighborhood is bordered by the Pacific Ocean on the west, San Elijo Lagoon to the north, Del Mar Racetrack on the south, and the Lomas Santa Fe Country Club to the east.

For commuting or reaching other recreational activities, residents may take advantage of the San Diego Coaster and Amtrak station located on Cedros Avenue. The Coaster links this beach area to Downtown San Diego, Carlsbad and Oceanside. Ride the Pacific Surfliner Amtrak train for a convenient way to visit LA, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo.

The neighborhood has five parks: Fletcher Cove Beach Park, La Colonia County Park, Tide Beach County Park, North Seascape Surf Park, and San Dieguito County Park. The county park is a whopping 125-acres of playgrounds, picnic areas, trails and recreational activities.
