Rancho Santa Fe Golf Communities

Whispering Palms is a lovely neighborhood of homes adjacent to the Morgan Run Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe.  The community was built by Richard Cavanaugh in the early 1960’s. There are 210 houses in three named neighborhoods: The Greens, The Villas, and The Villas I. There are also 344 condominiums at the gated condo complex named Alcala. The houses at Whispering Palms are not inside a gated community.

Many of the residents of Whispering Palms are members at Morgan Run Resort and Club. Morgan Run has a27 hole championship golf course, driving range, golf practice facilities, 11 tennis courts, and a beautiful swimming pool.  There are also 68 guest rooms and suites for members and non-resident guests.  The Rancho Grill and Somerset Lounge offer casual and fine dining in a relaxing atmosphere.

From I-5 take Via De La Valle east and continue straight on County Highway S6 for about 1 mile, then turn right on Concha De Golf.  Whispering Palms is just a short drive from the beaches in Del Mar and Solana Beach, and only about 20 to 30 minutes from downtown San Diego.

School children in the community may choose to attend either Solana Santa Fe Elementary School in Rancho Santa Fe or Skyline Elementary in Solana Beach.   Upper class students attend Early Warren Middle School in Carmel Valley and then either San Dieguito Academy or Torrey Pines High School.
