The Covenant is the heart of Rancho Santa Fe (zip code 92067).  The area was named after the protective covenant agreed upon by the first residential property owners in 1928.  The agreement has served to protect the natural beauty of the community and, as a result, it has evolved into one of the top three most expensive neighborhoods in the United States, and the priciest in California.
