Loan guidelines are actually very strict right now. There are a lot of self-employed people, including Realtors, who cannot obtain mortgage loans in this environment. Hopefully HUD and others can set up an effective screening policy that is realistic about the creditworthiness of America's entrepreneurs. I agree that it would be a very good idea to extend the tax credit past November 30. The market has momentum, but little drops like home sales nationwide in August would indicate that there is no threat of overheating. Getting the housing market on stable ground should continue to be a high priority of the Obama Administration. Thanks Lisa.
