and we want to tell you some of the great things about it.
First of all, we
love the location. I-56 has really made it
convenient to live here. It's less than 10 miles (less than 15
minute drive) to Del Mar.
We love the safe family atmosphere
in Rancho Penasquitos. The schools in our Poway School District
consistently rank at or near the top based on school test scores.
But more important, the kids are happy in our schools and on our
streets.
The kitchen is nice and open.
We spend a lot of time talking and visiting with friends while we cook.
There is a "breakfast nook" on the other side of the open partition
behind the sink peninsula. But we prefer to use it as an office
space for a desk and computer. Looking from the kitchen and from
the desk, the window to the right of the desk looks out at the back
yard.

Our house is great. There are
wall-to-wall Pergo-style wood floors throughout the entry level.
The floors beautifully accent the spacious rooms. The maple
colored wood lightens the rooms and is very easy to keep clean.
From the front door, enter and pass
through the large living room. We use the far end of the living
room as a music room with piano.
The "great room" beside the kitchen
(below) is the perfect place for a formal dining room. We love
having dinners beside the fire. Other families may prefer to use
area as a 'family room' or 'bonus room'. The sliding glass door
leading to the back yard is just to the left of table in the photograph
below.
The back yard is filled with trees. The trees
to the left are cute little decorative trees planted in the back patio.
They have been there for years and people comment on them all the time.
There are quite a few species of trees in back,
including a fruit-bearing citrus tree.
The back yard is HUGE.
There is plenty of rooms for kids,
pets, parties, etc...

The rooms upstairs are all very
comfortable with soft, neutral-colored Stain Master carpet. The
master bedroom (below) is painted with a dreamy designer color.
Walk forward from the foot of the bed and there is a sliding glass door
that leads to a large balcony.
The photo to the right shows the
sink and vanity area of the master bathroom. The door leads to the
shower and toilet. There are NEW shower enclosures in BOTH
